Bridge loader is a heavy & short scraper conveyor which could be moved as a whole longitudinally, similar with scraper conveyor in structure. And some components of bridge loader could also be adopted in scraper conveyor. Bridge is much shorter than scraper conveyor, which could be moved as a whole along with working face and belt conveyor. In mechanical coal mining, bridge loader could lift coal from scraper conveyor to belt conveyor, and reduce exchange frequency of adaptable belt conveyor, and speed up coal mining, increase coal mining working efficiency , increase coal production, and offer better working environment for coal mining working face.
Bridge loader could cooperate with scraper conveyor, adaptable belt conveyor, crusher, and hydraulic support.
In large-scale fully-mechanized coal mining system, bridge loader mainly lift up coal from scraper conveyor in working face to belt conveyor.
